Top 10 Plays- Ben Simmons 19′-20′

10. Simmons ties the game after a tipped free throw

The game that had a chaotic finish. Ben Simmons beat the buzzer by tipping in a missed free throw. The call had to be replayed and Simmons was given the bucket. The Heat announcers are brutal in this video.

9. Simmons first three

A designed play that came out of nowhere. Simmons shocked the crowd at Wells Fargo after his first official three of his career.

8. Simmons shakes Dwight Howard

Simmons played outstanding at home vs the Lakers. Without Embiid, he was able to put the team on his back and get another win against Lebron. His dunk over Dwight Howard is the first play in the video coming in at number 8.

7. Simmons EuroStep against the Bucks

A Christmas day massacre against the Bucks. Simmons soars down the court in transition and leaves Ersan stuck in the mud. A beautiful EuroStep by Simmons

6. The Peacemaker

The home game against the Timberwolves was the peak of the pre-bubble season. The Sixers were undefeated and defending their home court. Simmons coined his nickname “The Peacemaker” by rushing to the defense of Joel Embiid.

5. Simmons first three in pre-season

Even in a pre-season game the Wells Fargo was rocking. Simmons hit a deep three at the buzzer causing the faithful Sixers fans to rise to their feet.

4. Simmons Dunk Against the Celtics

A miserable game for the Sixers but at least Simmons put on a show. His dunk of Theis was just about the only Sixers highlight from that game.

3. Simmons With a 3 and Dunk Against the Cavs

Simmons second 3 of the season came during a slaughter against the Cavs. His three and alley-oop was the best sequence of the game.

2. Simmons dunk on Markkanen

Simmons is one of the fastest players in the league and he displayed his speed on this play.

1. Simmons with 3 straight steals to win the game

This was one of my personal favorite games of the year. There’s a lot of talk that the Sixers don’t have a natural closer on the team, but this is one of several games where they closed it out with defense. Simmons locked all windows and doors on 3 straight possessions. The steals leader single handily shut down the Pacer offense in crunch time. Marc Zumoff delivered a classic at the end of this game… “He’s a thief, but in Philly, that’s legal.”
