Tobias Harris Continues to Shine After Being Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Tobias Harris didn’t take his foot off the pedal after being named Eastern Conference player of the Week. The forward dominated again tonight with 22 points, five rebounds and a +/- of +24 as the Sixers beat the Hornets 118-102.

In addition to those stats, Harris had a 3P% of 56.3% during last week’s three-game span.

It’s safe to say this has been a pretty darn good four-game span for Harris. The Sixers need him to be great if they want to be serious contenders. Whether it’s because of reuniting with Doc Rivers or the new players around him, Harris has looked much more comfortable and confident than his previous years in Philly. He’s moving faster, being more aggressive with the ball and making better, quicker decisions during plays.

His swagger seems to be rubbing off on the rest of the team, too. The Sixers now have the NBA’s best record at 6-1. If Harris and the squad can keep of this level of play, the sky is the limit for what Philly can accomplish.
