The Wells Fargo Center is glowing in blue and red for the Philadelphia 76ers home opener. The Sixers are taking on the Chicago Bulls 8 pm on TNT. Tonight, the Sixers make their home debut against a team that they should handle well to get this home season off on the right foot. This is the Bulls first game of the season, but not for the Sixers, as they come into tonight (0-1).

The Sixers fan base saw a team two nights ago in Boston as confused as JR Smith was at the end of game one, of the NBA Finals. Expectations are on a new level this season and the fan base demands professionalism and excellence on the court for all 48 minutes. The turnovers must be limited and the airballs must be eliminated (Sorry Rob).

What to Look For

Markelle Fultz was in the gym at 3 am immediately after the loss in Boston. Say what you want about him underachieving but you can not question his determination and work ethic. It’s not by chance that he found himself in the NBA, it took passion and persistence to became the player he is today. Let’s look for a solid performance by the 1st overall pick tonight and look for Ben Simmions to get him engaged early on. In the opener, Simmions deferred Fultz the ball a few times early and that was a key factor into Fultz struggling. A 15 point performance with limited turnovers will be a great game for Markelle Fultz tonight.

The Center will be rocking and Joel Embiid will get the crowd energized. The season tickets are sold out and the organization officially is ready to have the Sixers home games became just like the Warriors atmosphere. Our time is now, and our fans have to get to as many games as we can to boost players like Markelle Fultz to heights untouched. Let’s get this win as we continue to trust the process.
