Jared Dudley expects the NBA to return despite health concerns

The NBA Players Association sent out a text to over 400 players asking each individual if they want to try and play again this season. The reply text is either a “Yes” or “No”.

The league has now opened 22 of its 30 practice facilities. The plan is too have Orlando and Las Vegas be the two locations for the playoffs if the season resumes.

Players such as Lebron, CP3, Russ, and Curry are pushing for a return. One player specifically has been very outspoken about the importance of the NBA season coming back.

Jared Dudley, took to Twitter to express his stance on why he voted yes for the season to continue.

The NBA is not superior to the coronavirus. If the league does not resume, players salaries will decrease and the value of the NBA shrinks next year with a new CBA. Jared Dudley is approaching this as a business decision, and rightfully so. He does include that health and safety is important.

The world must continue, and it is fantastic to see the owners and players taking the cautious and careful proactive steps to getting the 2019-2020 NBA season back by the Summer.

Adam Silver will make a decision in 2 to 4 weeks.
