The Sixers are looking to rebound after a big loss to the Spurs Monday night and will be happy to be back at home. The Knicks are also looking to rebound after an 18 point loss to the Suns. The last time the Sixers played the Knicks, Philly won 117-91.

I won’t dive to far into last game since no one wants to talk about how awful we looked. But, Embiid and Butler are both looking to turn things around after last game. Embiid had a rough go at it posting one of his worst games of the season going 13, 11, and 5. Butler, who was maybe still not 100%, also had a rough night getting things going. Butler posted 6, 3, and 2 in 30 minutes of play. I expect to see Embiid and Butler to have good games tonight.

Brett was asked after last game about their poor performance and Brett questioned the Sixers spirit. This should provide plenty of fuel for the team to come out to prove something to their coach. Embiid is slated to have a good night against a less talented defender in Kanter who can be a liability for the Knicks against more talented big men.

The big question mark for tonight’s game will be out bench. Brett Brown has been depending more heavily on the starters to get the job done. We need the bench to start stepping up and playing a bigger role in the game. Luckily for the Sixers they won’t or shouldn’t need to rely on the beach as heavily against the Knicks but if the Sixers get out to an early lead it will see who on the Sixers bench will come out to lead the second team.
