Line: Sixers -8

The Sixers take on the Washington Wizards tonight at home. The Sixers are coming off a dominating win over the Knicks Wednesday night. The Wizards are coming off of a 21 point loss to the Pelicans. Sixers are a force at home with a 11-1 record so far this season. The Wizards don’t play so well away from Washington, they are only 2-8 so far this year on the road.

Tonight I expect to see a whole lot of Joel Embiid. Embiid continues to dominate opposing teams and Washington doesn’t look to be ready to derail Joel. When a big man is playing at this elite level it usually creates open shots for shooters. So along with Joel having himself a night, the focus is also on Redick and Shamet to have a good scoring game as well.

Washington was a big player in the Jimmy Butler market this offseason/early season. They were unwilling at the time to give up Bradley Beal to get a deal done. Now the Wizard have to deal with Butler on another team in the Eastern Conference. Butler has been molding himself into the offense and defense to find his role. Unfortunately, it takes time for players to gel but tonight will be another game that the Sixers will be figure out how to get this big three rolling and firing on all cylinders.

My key for tonight’s game is simply turnovers. If you keep tabs on my pregame articles I likely sound like a broken record but the Sixers struggle at times with turning the ball over. If they can minimize the turnovers tonight they should come out with a win.

Trust The Process.
