Game #23: The Big Apple vs The Process – Knicks vs Sixers Preview Outline

If you live in the NY-PHILLY area, a common term that you may hear is that Philadelphia is New York’s little brother. They have the same blue collar community, similar building structure, and the same crappy potholes. An area that the cities differ one another are in the sports teams success as of late. The Eagles just won the Super Bowl, Flyers made the playoffs last year, and now the Sixers have a big three. The Knicks have been terrible and poorly managed ever since Reggie Miller shushed Spike Lee in the 90s playoff run.

Tonight the Sixers take on the Knicks after a fantastic road win up in Brooklyn on Sunday. Jimmy Buckets made another clutch step back three to send the Sixers to (14-8). The Knicks come into town on a tough loss in Detroit to send them to (4-9) away from Madison Square Garden.Image result for jimmy butler

“Another play drawn up by coach,” Butler said. “My teammates have lot of confidence in me to take shots late, hopefully I make shots late as well. But I mean, I got to the spot that I wanted to get to, raised up and knocked it down.”

Jimmy Butler is slowly establishing himself into the rotation. After a slow start averaging around only 11 shots a game, Butler took 20 shots and made over half of them. The fans have expressed concern over the game plan to give Butler the ball in crunch time, but he has made back to back game winning shots on the road. Expect an impactful game from Butler tonight.

The Sixers have to feel desperate no matter what the scoreboard says on the screen. Ben Simmons must be aggressive tonight, even without Kendall Jenner in attendance. Ben Simmons started the comeback in Brooklyn when they were down 20 points.Image result for tj mcconnell knicks

We must make note, that TJ is playing tonight against the Knicks, and we all remember what he did to the unemployed Carmelo Anthony a few years back. I expect a Sixers win in a convincing fashion with the Knicks on a back to back.

Trust The Process.
