Buddy Hield is ready to trust the process
Since his benching, rumors have swirled of the Sixers possibly shopping Al Horford over the offseason. One of the most popular hypotheticals were Horford for Sacramento King’s Sharpshooter, Buddy Hield. Well, as it turns out, Sacramento’s disgruntle star may be ready to make the move to South Philly.
From Reddit user u/aidenrobot22. Now we know, it’s a big fact that Hield trusts the process. Although this could mean a number of different things, it isn’t the first time he’s shown interest in the Sixers through Instagram. In late February, Hield liked a post outlining the potential Horford-Hield trade.

While it’s difficult to give rumors credibility based on social media activity, this is beginning to look like a trend. Hield, acquired by the Kings in the Demarcus Cousins trade, has voiced his displeasure with the team. He was given a contract extension at the start of the season – 4 years $94 Mil – but lost his starting spot after a six-game losing streak in late January. Prior to the NBA’s shutdown, Hield was shooting 39% on nine three point attempts per game; best among players shooting nine attempts per game.
The Kings were rumored to be interested in Horford last offseason. Yahoo Sports reported that the Kings were prepared to offer Horford a massive contract at the start of free agency. Honestly, it’s a shame they didn’t.

It’s impossible to know what teams are thinking during such uncertain times, but if there is any truth to these rumors, things could materialize quickly.
