The Philadelphia 76ers made an announcement this afternoon on the status of fans attending playoff games at the Wells Fargo Center.
For the first round of the playoffs, the Sixers can hold a maximum of 50% capacity.
This means roughly 10,000 screaming fans will be yelling “You Suck” for player intros.
Sixers and Phillies will be allowed to have 50% capacity at Wells Fargo Center and Citizens Bank Park starting in 10 days

Better yet, on June 11th, all Covid-19 restrictions will be lifted (except masks) in the city.
This could mean 100% capacity for the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals for the Sixers.

Tickets are not on sale yet for the playoffs, but expect an announcement very soon.
The city will lift all capacity restrictions for crowds on June 11, and Tyrese Maxey can’t wait.
“Philly’s crowd, whether it’s 1,000, 2,000, 22,000 — however many — it’s going to be crazy and rowdy. … We can’t wait to get it started.” pic.twitter.com/nwm4t6fVDn

Tyrese Maxey understands the impact of fans being at the Wells Fargo Center.
The playoffs will have to run through the city of brotherly love.
