Tonight could be the night that the Sixers clinch their first #1 seed in 20 years. What great timing too. With the playoffs approaching, the city just approved the Wells Fargo for 50% capacity. The East will run through Philadelphia and their crazy, energetic, amazing fans. Who’s ready for Joel Embiid’s “MVP” chants during the NBA finals? Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but I just can’t help it. There’s even more reason for fans to be excited after an exchange with Daryl Morey on Twitter earlier today.
After the Sixers tweeted the news about 50% capacity, Daryl Morey added on and explained how excited he is for 10k fans heckling the opposing players. A Philly fan responded with a tweet that caught Morey’s attention.
Can you imagine the outburst from fans if Sam Hinkie walks to center court? We would hear the loudest “Trust The Process” chants coming from Wells Fargo. 10k fans would sound like a million. The entire city of Philadelphia would erupt causing an earthquake. The man who started it all coming in to finish the job. A giant middle finger to Adam Silver and the league. I couldn’t be anymore excited for this years playoffs. THE EAST RUNS THROUGH PHILLY!!!!
