For those of you who are unaware, from time to time DraftKings feels bad about taking all of our money week after week, and decides to give back to the gambling community. Throughout the season, myself and The Phifth Quarter will be here to make sure you are aware of these momentous occasions well in advance, to take advantage of them. Here is the great part about these promotions though, unlike my “can’t lose” parlays you will see throughout the year- these bets actually can’t lose! So it is a good way to build up the money in your DraftKings account with virtually no risk at all. Without further ado, let’s get into the NBA opening week DraftKings promotions for our Sixers. There is one for users located in NJ, CO, IN, IA, IL, TN, or WV, and a separate one for PA users. A user located in PA can only wager on the promo specifically for PA, and can only place the bet if they are physically in PA. Same applies for the promotion in the other states. At the end, there is another great promo for all users, so make sure to read all the way until the bottom.

+75 point spread. “Starting on 12/16, DraftKings Sportsbook will offer new and existing users an odds boost to use on any team’s point spread to be boosted to +75 on 12/22. The mechanics of the offer are identical for both new and existing users except that new users have a max bet of $50 and existing users have a max bet of $25.” The odds for this spread is +100. What does this mean? Basically once you opt-in to the promo, if you are a new user you could bet up to $50, or an existing user you could bet up to $25, that the team you choose will not lose by more than 75 points. I.e. if you opt in and place the wager on the Nets, the only way you would lose is if the Nets lost to the Warriors by 76 points or more. Spoiler alert: they won’t. This is free money- take it. Don’t worry PA folks, you’ll get your free money too. Joel Embiid over 7.5 points. “As an alternative to the +75 point spread offer above, we will also be running a boost for Joel Embiid to score over 7.5 points in the Wizards vs 76ers game on 12/23. This is for new and existing PA users only.” This is a max $25 bet. What this means is that as long as Embiid scores 8 points or more against the Wizards on Wednesday, your bet will hit. The odds are also +100, so if you bet $25 you will make $25. Again, this is free money. Opt-in and take advantage of this awesome promo. “Starting 12/23, DraftKings Sportsbook will be offering a promo awarding new users a 100-1 odds boost for featured games from 12/23 through 12/30. Every game on Christmas Day will be included.” This deal has a max bet of $1. This means that you will be able to pick any team to win any single game throughout the week and bet $1 that they will win the game, and if they do- you win $100. I know, it’s awesome. I’d probably use that on the Sixers for the Sixers-Knicks on the 26th. Sorry Knicks fans. Definitely going to have to take advantage of this myself. Free money people! Hop on it.
