Serena Winters Out as Sixers sideline reporter
Serena Winters has been the Sixers sideline reporter for the last 2 seasons. She has been through the ups and downs of the playoff ready Sixers squads. She covered Jimmy Butler to Philly, trade for Tobias Harris, game 7 buzzer in Toronto, and the NBA bubble this year.
Serena made a statement on Twitter that she will no longer be the Sixers sideline reporter.
Thank YOU Philly!❤️💙
It was an absolutely INCREDIBLE two years. I love this city & I loved covering your team, @sixers!
I wish it didn’t have to come to an end, but am SO grateful for this experience & made this 🎥 to share some of my favorite moments!https://t.co/SigWJKhP3X

NBC Sports Philadelphia are in the mist of cutbacks. Greg Murphy and Derrick Gunn also are reporters who were cut alongside Serena.
Serena Winters brought value to the Sixers broadcast coverage every night. She knew when to be serious and also when to let her guard down. That is talent, and she will find a new home very soon.
Interesting to see if NBC Sports Philadelphia’s TV broadcast team goes without a reporter for good.
