Barstool Sportsbook App launching in PA
Barstool Sports announced a few months ago that they’d launch their own sports betting app in collaboration with Penn Gaming. This is the week of the move to PA. Penn Gaming has become an up and coming force in the casino and sports betting industry since partnering with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and CEO Erika Nardini.
Marty Mush documented a tour of the Barstool Sports mansion located in Old city. It will be interesting to see the creative content that Barstool makes during the shift to Philadelphia.
The Barstool Sportsbook app will be a huge move for the media giant, as Penn National invested 450 Million. The NFL season starting on Thursday will be key, as the app is scheduled to launch some point later in September.
It was interesting to see everyones reaction to the news when El Prez made the announcement on coming to Philadelphia. Some are excited, but many are against Barstool Sports invading another sports town.
