The Philadelphia 76ers are cursed
The Sixers lost on a buzzer beater last year to the Raptors in game 7. Now, fast forward to a year later, the team is in shambles.
High expectations were set for Philly in the preseason. Maybe they were unfair, but the team chemistry has been pathetic. Luckily, the Sixers were given a second chance in the bubble to turn the season into a success.
Joel Embiid was healthy for the playoffs first time entering the bubble, and Ben Simmons developed a three point shot. All was good.
Now, 2 weeks into the restart Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are injured.
Ben Simmons had his left knee surgery to remove a loose body in Philadelphia today and will remain there for rehab. He’s expected to miss the rest of the season.

Ben Simmons is OUT for the season.
There’s optimism that the Embiid ankle injury isn’t serious and that he’ll be back soon, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/yvCj70K6dv

Joel Embiid is getting further tests with no word if he can play again.
Why does this always happen to the Sixers?
Help.
